Warhammer Estalia concept art: Light cavalary and knights

Estalia has large herds of horses of great quality and speed since during the Arabian invasion of Estalia the Arabs brought with them their fantastic horses that were crossed with the local species. This created a new species of very fast steeds only surpassed in speed by the Thoroughbred Arabian and Elven steeds and almost as strong and hardy as Bretonnian horses.
Estalia's light cavalrymen are made up of hombres villanos with enough income to buy and keep horses, if they have not stolen or plundered them in their conquests. Armed with light weapons such as spears and swords or projectile weapons such as crossbows and arquebuses, these men-at-arms play a critical role as scouts and skirmishers in military campaigns.
The Estalian Knights are well-equipped and experienced horsemen, as many of them belong to the nobility. The young sons of the rulers of Estalia are eager to prove their courage and strength on the battlefield. The Bretonnian influence makes many young people want to imitate the stories of chivalry that came from the north, although many of them seek wealth more than abstract honor. Armed with the heaviest armor to be found in Estalia, these knights lead the frenzied Estalian charges towards their enemies, unstoppable and indomitable.
Those who fail in war, whose houses succumb to Estalia's political chaos, must flee abroad. These are impoverished Estalian Knights and freebooters who have abandoned their decaying feudal estates to become soldiers of fortune, selling their honor to the highest bidder.
