Being the highest ranking members and leaders of the oni clans they are expected to be the most powerful warriors and sorcerers in their respective clans and not only are they great strategists and diplomats but also lead by example whether it be fiercely fighting in the front lines, slaying enemy leaders and monsters with their bows or raining powerful spells down the enemy ranks. Due to their immortal nature as beings of the realm of chaos, they are all veterans of a thousand battlefields, having faced a myriad of different enemies and possesing knowledge and tactics for every occasion. All are adept in the use of the 8 winds. of magic and in merging them to use high magic, an innate ability in their species because for them it is as natural to manipulate the aethyric currents as it is for a human to breathe. In addition, all the daimyo go into battle equipped with the most exquisite weapons and magical armor that their race can produce, making them even more formidable enemies if possible.
