Warhammer Estalia concept art: alanos de guerra

During expeditions to Lustria the Estalians could not make effective use of their light cavalry in the thick jungles from which the skinks harassed them. However, the legendary dogkeeper Cesario Milanus (who, as much as Estalians like to say otherwise, looks rather Tilean) covered his Alano dogs with light leather cuirasses and chain mail remodeled from those of dead soldiers and launched these hounds in a skink extermination campaign which made these packs of dogs very popular proving their usefulness in chasing all kinds of skirmishers and light cavalry.
