Warhammer Nippon concept fanart: Tengu

Tengu are a type of humanoid yokai about the size of an adult man with bird-like features such as huge wings emerging from their backs, red faces, and unusually long noses. Tengu are exceedingly proud even by yokai standards and love having temples built in their name and often have large communities of worshipers and regiments of warrior monks under their command. The tengu are proud warriors masters of the sword and naginata and thanks to their incredible speed of flight they can drop in the blink of an eye anywhere on the battlefield and cause carnage.
